Civil War in Mozambique

Here’s a story you probably aren’t reading much about.

My friends in Mozambique tell me that the civil war, which ended in 1992, has been reigniting in rural areas of the country.

For example, if you want to drive from Maputo to Beira, you are advised to travel via military convoy.

It’s time for the international community, particularly South Africa, to weigh in and ensure that the civil war is halted immediately.
