Dear Boston City Councilors Campbell, Flaherty, Essaibi, Pressley, Wu, Edwards, Flynn, Baker, McCarthy, O’Malley, Janey, Zakim, Ciommo,
I’m a doctor, husband, and father of a 3-year-old boy, and am concerned about the future of Boston. I would like to invite you to my home in JP on a weekend in September or October for a two hour pizza lunch. You are the only invitees. No media, no staff members. I’ll be cooking the pizza. It will be homemade and hopefully pretty good. I’ll also provide (non-alcoholic) drinks of your choice. We’ll also have a little bit of music. Please let me know some weekend dates that might work for you. I could also set up a Doodle.
At our pizza lunch, we’ll discuss the major issues facing Boston including 1) Gun violence and the climate of fear that pervades the city, 2) School reform, 3) Street safety (the need for more bicycles and less cars), 4) Jobs and ending gentrification, 5) Protecting immigrants/ the poor/ minorities. Thanks!
