measles cases are surging in europe to the highest levels since the 1990s

cases of measles in europe have hit a record high, according to the world health organization. this is primarily due to complacency and low levels of vaccination.

what do you think should be done to increase immunization rates?

to me, we need a major education campaign about the risk of infectious diseases and ways we can prevent them with vaccination. we also need a “cultural strategy” to connect with people who are suspicious about the safety of immunziation.
